How To Delete Facebook Search History All At Once?
Short Bytes: Your Facebook search history is saved in the form of a list in your Facebook account. You can access this data whenever you want by visiting the Activity Log on your desktop and the Facebook app on your phone. There you can delete individual searches or delete all the Facebook Search history at once.Facebook is mainly about news feed and selfies. ButFacebook Search is great optionto find people rather than searching them in your friend list. And sometimes we also bump into the names of the older mates whose memories are on the verge of diminishes.
Over the years, Facebook Search has transformed from a simple people and page search feature to a full-fledged search engine. Now, it allows us to type search queries in a natural way. However, everything you type in the Facebook search bar safely rests in the search history.
Just like Google, Facebook also uses this history to refine your search results. You can find you Facebook search history in the Activity Log. And you have all the power to delete it whenever you want.

How to delete Facebook search history completely?
Do it on the desktop:
Click on the Facebook Search bar.
Click on the Edit option in the top-right corner of the Facebook Search bar.
Alternatively, you can go to your timeline page and click View Activity Log. Then click More (below Comments) and choose Search from the list.
Once you’re on the search history page, you can delete individual search queries.
To delete a search, click the edit button next to lock. Click Delete.
A delete confirmation dialog box will appear. Click Remove Search.

To delete all the searches at once, look for Clear Searches option on the top of the page.
Note: Once deleted, you won’t be able to get back your search history.
Deleting the searches from the activity log will also remove them from everywhere else they appear. For example, this will also erase the Facebook search bar’s recent searches drop-down list after you delete the names from here.

Add a Nickname On Facebook

Add A Nickname On Facebook, how to include nickname on fb     No comments

                                                   Add a Nickname On Facebook

                                  Add a Nickname On Facebook

Recently, Facebook has renewed its efforts to force users to use their real names, annoying many and causing a lot of confusion. Here’s how to add an other name such as a nickname, alias, or maiden name to your Facebook profile.

You may not use your so-call real life name for any variety of reasons. Maybe you simply don’t go by your given name, or maybe your pseudonym is how you self-identify. Whatever your particular circumstance, Facebook apparently knows better and will send you the following tersely worded warning that you need to update your name.
Facebook can be pretty annoying, and we’ve covered some of the more notable irritations, such as disabling birthday reminders or blocking game and app requests but, these are things that you can attend to at your convenience. Unfortunately, the “real life” name policy requires more immediate attention.
Luckily, you can add another name, such as a nickname, pseudonym, maiden name, and others to your account, which (if you want) will be displayed at the top of your account in parenthesis next to your “real life” name.
To add other names, you want to click “About” at the top of your timeline.
Next click the “Details About You” category and note the “Other Names” settings.
From here you can add a nickname, birth name, and any other of a number of option.
Understand that Other Names are “always public and help people find you on Facebook,” so if your privacy is super important to you then this option may not be the best choice.
From here, if you want your other name shown at the top of your profile in parenthesis next to your “real life” name, you should check “Show at top of profile.” You’ll be able to preview what this will look like before you commit to it.
That’s how you add other names to your Facebook profile using the main website. Here’s how to do it on Android devices.
Adding Other Names on Android
Using the Android app, tap the three lines in the upper-right corner, scroll down, tap “Account Settings.”
Next, on the Settings screen, tap “General.”
Now, tap “Name.”
Just like on the website, there will be an option to add “Add or change other names” so tap that.
Tap “Add a nickname, a birth name…” and you can follow the same procedure as detailed above.
From hereon, it is largely the same across other platforms but let’s very briefly show you how to do it on your iPhone or iPad.
Adding Other Names on iOS
If you’re using an iPad or iPhone then the steps are largely the same as on other platforms. First tap the arrow in the upper-right corner and from the resulting menu, tap “Settings.”
Now, on the Settings screen tap “Name.”
And, here we are again at the Change Name screen. Under the Other Names option, you now just need to tap “Add or change other names.”
Then, same as on Android, tap “Add a nickname, a birth name…”
Hopefully this is a suitable compromise between displaying your “real life” name and the identity by which you actually want to go by. In any event, if you’ve gotten one of Facebook’s warnings, then this is the your best option to appease them.

We could write long-winded screeds about Facebook’s “real life” name policy or just Facebook in general, but this is a how-to article so we’ll leave the rants and complaints to you. Have you been targeted by Facebook because your name doesn’t adhere to their “real life” name policy? Please feel free to let it rip in our discussion forum.

Android Messages will let you send texts from your computer starting today
Google is beginning to roll out desktop browser support for Android Messages, allowing people to use their PC for sending messages and viewing those that have been received on their Android smartphone. Google says the feature is starting to go out to users today and continuing for the rest of the week. Text, images, and stickers are all supported on the web version.
To get started, the Android Messages website has you scan a QR code using the Android Messages mobile app, which creates a link between the two. That’s very similar to how the web client for Allo — remember Allo? — worked. Unfortunately, that section of the Messages app isn’t yet live. Hopefully it won’t be long before it shows up and you can start chatting across platforms.
This is one of the first significant steps in Google’s push towards Chat, which is the company’s implementation of Rich Communication Services (RCS) inside Android Messages. If you’re going to be a viable competitor to iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and other chat platforms, a desktop version is pretty critical. Allo was one swing at that goal, but Google is pausing all efforts and investment in that failed app and betting that Android Messages — the out-of-box default messaging app on many smartphones — represents its best chance at success. Many carriers have also pledged to back Chat and integrate the benefits (read receipts, typing indicators, full-resolution images and video, and improved group texts) offered by RCS. The big downside? None of this stuff is end-to-end encrypted.

In today’s blog post, Google also goes over numerous other recent improvements to Android Messenger including built-in GIF search, support for smart replies on more carriers, inline link previews, and easy copy/paste for two-factor authentication messages.

Correction June 18th 3:05PM ET: The article originally said that Wi-Fi must be enabled on your Android device for web messaging to work. That's not the case; Google recommends that if you're experiencing problems with the feature, you should toggle Wi-Fi “off and on again.” But it also works over cellular data.

Has someone ignored your Facebook friend request? Here's how to find out
Torture yourself by discovering who hasn’t accepted your Facebook friend request on the world’s biggest social network.
Facebook is a great way of keeping in touch with friends; you can share photos, chat, and keep up to date with each other’s lives – if the person you want to be friends with you, that is.

The reality is, not everyone wants to be your Facebook friend. Everyone uses Facebook differently, some accept friend requests from everyone, others want to keep work and home life separate, while some people just ignore requests altogether.

Facebook Search
I have created a new Facebook search tool that has much better functionality then my first tool (available below).

The new tool is a Google Chrome extension so you must use Google Chrome as your browser and then click the link below to go to the Chrome Store. Once there, simply click the button to install the extension.

To use Facebook Graph search, you will need to have your language settings in Facebook set to English (US). It is a simple process to install this tool. If you find this tool useful I will be very grateful if you can share it and write a review in the Chrome Store site.

9) Have someone else watching and responding to comments from a desktop computer. When you're the one holding the camera for a Facebook Live video, it's really hard to see the comments popping up on the mobile screen. If the comments are coming in fast, it's especially easy to lose sight of them as they disappear below the fold. Plus, you're probably occupied by recording and entertaining viewers. Because of this, it's always a good idea to have an additional person logged into the primary account to monitor the comments on a desktop computer. That way, they can take care of responding so the person recording the video can concentrate on creating a great experience. 10) Subtitle your broadcast in the comments section. Your viewers may be tuning in and out to watch your video during the work day, or they might simply be watching your video without sound. Either way, periodically subtitling the video in the comments section is a great way to keep people engaged. This also allows people who are tuning in late to catch up on what's going on. Take some inspiration from Refinery29 -- it captioned the video with some of the most snackable one-liners and quotes from the broadcast in the comments section: FBliverefinery29comments.png 11) Ask viewers to subscribe to live notifications. In addition to asking for Likes, shares, and comments, ask viewers to subscribe to live notifications. To do that, all viewers have to do is click the small, downward-facing arrow in the top right-hand corner of the live video post, and choose "Turn On Notifications." You can also ask them to Like your brand on Facebook, which will make it more likely that they'll be notified of your next live broadcast. Lucie does this in the Refinery29 video. 12) Broadcast for at least 10 minutes. As soon as you begin recording your live video, you'll start slowly but surely showing up in people's News Feeds. The longer you broadcast -- especially as Likes, comments, and shares start coming in -- the more likely people are to discover your video and share it with their friends. Because timing is such an important factor for engagement in these live videos, we recommend that you go live for at least 10 minutes, although you can stay live for up to 90 minutes for a given video.

In addition to asking for Likes, shares, and comments, ask viewers to subscribe to live notifications. To do that, all viewers have to do is click the small, downward-facing arrow in the top right-hand corner of the live video post, and choose "Turn On Notifications."

You can also ask them to Like your brand on Facebook, which will make it more likely that they'll be notified of your next live broadcast.

Add a nickname on Facebook
How to Add Nicknames to Your Facebook Profile

How to Log Into Facebook If You Have Lost Access to Code Generator
Facebook offers many layers of security and if you value your account, you should apply all of them. You can use a secure password, add your mobile phone number/s for a potential recovery, set up trusted contacts, login alerts, login approvals, and code generator.Has Your Facebook Been Hacked? Here's How to Tell (and Fix It) Has Your Facebook Been Hacked? Here's How to Tell (and Fix It) There are quite a few things that you can do to prevent an attack on your Facebook account, and a few things you can do to fix things if it does get hacked. Try this. This system can break down when you get logged out of Facebook and lose access to your recovery options. For example, what if you can’t log into Facebook on your new computer because you don’t have access to the Code Generator on your phone?

You can turn to several tools to recover your Facebook account. In this article we will focus on Login Approvals and your options when you’ve lost your phone. How to Recover Your Facebook Account When You Can No Longer Log In How to Recover Your Facebook Account When You Can No Longer Log In Did you forget your password and can no longer log in? What Are Login Approvals?

Login Approvals are Facebook’s version of two-factor authentication. Normally, you only need your password and your username or email address to log into your Facebook account. Now, let’s say someone knows your email address, then all they need is to crack your passwordand that’s easier than you may think.Test Your Password Strength with the Same Tool Hackers Use Test Your Password Strength with the Same Tool Hackers Use Is your password secure? Once you enable Login Approvals, you’re adding an extra layer of security. Whenever you try to log into Facebook from a new location or device, Facebook will ask you for a security code to complete the login. A security code can be obtained in three different ways:
From a text message to your mobile number.
From Code Generator in the Facebook mobile app, which automatically generates a fresh code every 30 seconds.
From a downloaded set of backup codes.
So even if someone manages to crack your password, they won’t be able to log in without a security code.

Note that up to two of the methods above depend on your phone. If you do proceed with enabling Login Approvals, make sure you have a backup plan for the case that you lose your phone. More on that below.
How to Set Up Login Approvals and Code Generator
To enable Login Approvals, open Facebook in your browser, click the arrowhead in the top right to expand the navigation menu, and go to Settings > Security > Login Approvals. Here, check Require a security code to access my account from unknown browsers, make sure your mobile number is up to date, and click Save Changes.

New version Facebook lite Download

Add A Nickname On Facebook, New Version Facebook Lite Download     No comments

                                         New version Facebook lite Download
                                   New version Facebook lite Download

If you want to view photos of your aunt Sally, type in 'Photos of Sally [Surname].' If you are friends with Sally, this will return all the photos she shared with her friends. If you are not friends, the search will still return images she has shared with the public and, depending on her privacy settings, images tagged by or shared with a family member or mutual friend.
If you, or the person posting the original image liked the image, you can filter the search using that as a variable. If it was your aunt Sally, type 'Photos Liked by Sally [Surname],' or the name of the event, 'Photos of Sally Surname's Family Reunion.' If you liked the photo, type 'Photos liked by me.'
When you know the location and/or year the photo was taken, try 'Photos recently taken in [Place]' or 'Photos taken in [Place] in [Year]'.
If the photo is of you and another person, type 'Photos of me and [Person].' Add the year to the phrase or 'recently' to narrow down your results to the newest pictures.

Searching for Photos of Friends and Family

This may be the easiest Facebook picture search to conduct.
Since you probably know the person's username, use 'Photos by [Username]' to conduct a quick search. This will return photos posted by a person and, in the second grouping of results, photos they are tagged in.
Type 'Photos uploaded by my friends' to get a list of images your friends have uploaded. Click on an image in the search results to see which friend posted it.
Narrow down your results by changing 'my friends' to a particular person's Facebook name.
Search 'Photos liked by my friends' to return a list of images your friends have liked. However, it may not reveal which friend liked the image if a lot of people liked it, but it will show who originally posted the photo.
Checking up on Your Children

Use similar techniques to check up on photos shared or commented on by your friends.
The quickest way to do this is simply search using the phrase 'Photos by [Username],' but a more revealing search may be 'Photos commented on by [Username].' This will return the list of all images a person commented on and it will show the comment.
Since you are most likely friends on Facebook with your child, you can also search for 'Photos commented on by my friends.' This will broaden the search and may reveal comments your child's friends have made, if that is information you want to monitor.

You can attempt to find images on Facebook without logging in to the site, but it is not easy.
(without logging in to the site) and use the tabs to narrow what you see by people, places or pages, then click the character names (letters and numbers) to target your results. You will only get results for people who have public search listings on Facebook. You will get a massive quantity of results, so trying to find a particular target this way can be very time-consuming and tedious.

Tip: It's free to open a Facebook account, so you can always set up a profile and log in to avoid having to use this method.
Off-Platform Facebook Picture Searches

Although the social media platform strives to keep images viewable only from within their site, there are a few possible ways to see Facebook photos without going to the site. In a practical sense, no one can view all Facebook images from outside the platform, but some photos can be seen through a general internet search or a reverse image search.
