Turn on the screen and unlock the phone to view the Home screen. In this example, we will use the fingerprint scanner on the Home button.

Tap the Facebook icon to open the application. The Facebook icon has a blue background with a white "f" on it.

Facebook will open to the News Feed. We will need to use the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the "More" icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will open the main menu of the application.

Scroll to the bottom of the menu and tap "Log Out".

When prompted, tap "Log Out" to confirm. The Facebook application will ask us to confirm that we would like to log out. Tap "Cancel" if we do not want to log out of the application.
