How to fix Facebook Language

Can I Reactivate My Facebook Account After I Deactivate It, How to fix Facebook Language     No comments

How to fix Facebook Language
How to fix Facebook Language
My Facebook page language changes suddenly. How can I fix it?
Katja Evertz, works at University of St. Gallen ·
Do you mean Facebook in general?
You can change the general language settings by scrolling down on the Facebook page. On the right hand side, you'll see links to Privacy, Terms, Cookies etc. The first item in this list is you current language. Click on the language, and then you can switch to any language you like (even Pirate English!)
Hope this helps. If this doesn't answer your question, can you please specify your question?
Your feedback is private.
Is this answer still relevant and up to date?
Dhaval Gandhi, Design Mentor at Multiple Organizations (2014-present) ·
Today, I have wrote an article on the same issue. It’s one of the best example of #badux that Facebook changes language automatically based on georaphy and user does not have any control to change back.

You could read entire article on “Facebook - Local Language Experience” and share your thoughts. I would be also sharing this issue with Facebook team.
If you want to self learn User Experience Design then you could also explore Design Practice where we publish good and bad UX experiences and you could learn UX design from these experiences. For any queries related to design, feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn and send me a message.

Can i see who views my Instagram Pictures

Can I Reactivate My Facebook Account After I Deactivate It, Can i see who views my Instagram Pictures     13 comments

Can i see who views my Instagram Pictures
Can i see who views my Instagram Pictures
Can you see who viewed your Instagram? The answer is complicated.
If you use Instagram, you're probably wondering who out there is actually paying attention to what you post. Followers can post comments and offer likes, but how do you know if they even saw your latest photo? Can you see who viewed your Instagram?
The answer: yes and no. With standard Instagram posts, there's no way to track who's looking at your posts or visiting your profile. One sort-of exception: You can see the amount of views on a video or Boomerang post, but Instagram won't reveal who exactly interacted with them, only how many people did. Fortunately, there's another way to discover your most loyal and curious followers.
How to see who viewed your Instagram Story

Instagram Stories is the Snapchat-like feature that Instagram rolled out over the summer. It's a massive hit already — Instagram Stories surpassed 100 million actively daily users after just two months of operation. One likely reason for this is that the feature lets you track who's viewing your content on a day-to-day — or even hour-to-hour — basis.
So how do you get that information? It's quite easy. Once you've posted a Story, simply tap on your icon on the top-left side of the home page and swipe up. Not only can you see how many people viewed your Story, but you can see who viewed it and in what order. Instagram Stories Instagram/TechCrunch

That's part of the appeal of this latest form of storytelling social media. With platforms like Facebook, anyone can post content and their followers have the option to like or comment. But sometimes these posts may not necessitate interaction — your followers merely want to look at them. On Facebook, it's probable those friends are stumbling on your posts thanks to the News Feed's algorithm, rather than going directly to your page. With Instagram Stories, followers aren't randomly encountering your posts; they're seeking it out intentionally, and best of all: you can see exactly who's doing it.

Voter purges and identification laws are anti-democratic. Particularly in the South, where the laws are most unbending, they seem to push America back towards the early 20th century, when blacks were systematically prevented from voting. Scare stories about fraudulent voting also distract from the genuine problem of meddling in American elections by Russia. In the long run, barriers to voting may even be bad for the Republicans who usually erect them. Every moment they spend thinking about how to make voting harder is a moment they do not spend thinking about how to attract new non-white voters—a puzzle they will have to crack eventually.

The Department of Justice used to prevent states from erecting barriers to voting. Under Jeff Sessions, it winks at such efforts. Mr Sessions, who is supposed to enforce laws that promote voting like the National Voter Registration Act and the Help America Vote Act, should reconsider. Though an early Trump backer, he has shown some courage and independence, enduring much presidential barracking and knocking down Republican demands for him to investigate the FBI.

Vote early, vote often
It would be better still if states made it easier to vote, not harder. There is no reason not to enroll voters automatically when they encounter state officials. A dozen states, not all of them left-leaning, do so already. Three-quarters allow people to vote early, by post; the most adventurous states, such as California and Colorado, are moving to postal voting by default.

One reform above all would boost turnout. Americans vote on Tuesdays not because the constitution says they must, but because of a law passed in 1845. So pass another one, creating a public holiday or moving national elections to the weekend (as in many democracies). Voting is worth celebrating. This article appeared in the Leaders section of the print edition under the headline "Sign me up"

Why can Facebook be used for?
As one of the premier social media sites, Facebook has plenty to offer. It can be used to keep in touch with old friends online, or perhaps to meet new friends. The website houses not only individuals but also groups, and pages devoted to companies, common interests and more: it is easy to find someone with a similar outlook.

Does it cost anything to use Facebook?
No. The site and all of its services are free to use. All a user needs is an e-mail address, and they will be ready to start an account.
Is it safe to use Facebook?

While the site strives to provide a secure service, as with all websites that deal in confidential information, it is the target of scammers and phishers who try to obtain passwords and other such data from users. The site is for the most part safe, but as with everywhere on the Internet, users should remain vigilant.
How does Facebook's "wall" work?

Every user who registers an account will be given their own wall. Here, they can post messages, and receive replies from friends; they can also share other members' posts onto your wall, or onto their friends' walls. In addition, every page on the site has a wall of its own, while groups have collective walls for all members to use. Alongside the private message function, the wall is one of the main means of communication on the site.
Can Facebook be put to professional use?

Yes, it is commonplace for companies or individual professionals to use the site as a means of promoting their business or staying in touch with customers. The site offers step-by-step instructions on creating a page for a business or service.

Does Facebook have an app?
Yes, there is an app that allows the social media site and its functions to be used quickly and easily from a mobile device. In addition, a separate app allows mobiles to make full use of Facebook's messenger service.
What kind of pages can be found on Facebook?

Facebook pages are generated by the site's vast username, and so encompass a wide range of subjects. Pages cover favourite books, films and TV shows, along with celebrities, political causes, hobbies and even types of food. Some pages are officially tied to their subjects, while others are unofficial and set up by enthusiasts.
Does Facebook collect information about its users?
Yes, the website collects information about its users, although it is vague about exactly what data it collects. This information is used for the purposes of targeted advertising. Any user concerned about the process is advised to consider what information they submit.

Can I Reactivate My Facebook Account After I Deactivate It
Can I Reactivate My Facebook Account After I Deactivate It

How to Reactivate Your Facebook Account
It's really easy to reactivate Facebook if you've deactivated your account but want back in the game.

Deactivating Facebook doesn't do much except put a sort of freeze on your information. So, it's really, really easy to unfreeze it and get back in quickly.

Reactivating Facebook means your friends will reappear in your friend's list again and any new status updates you write will start showing up in your friends' news feeds.

Note: The instructions below are only valid if you've deactivated your account, not if you've permanently deleted Facebook. If you're not sure what you've done, either go ahead and follow these steps to see if you can get back in or understand the difference between deactivating and deleting.

How to Reactivate Facebook

Sign in to Facebook at Facebook.com, logging in with the two boxes at the very top right of the screen. Use the same email and password you used when you last signed into Facebook.

It's that easy. You just reactivated your Facebook account and restored your old profile the moment you successfully logged back into Facebook.
Facebook will interpret any sign-in to mean that you want to use your account again, so it will immediately reactivate your Facebook account.

While it is really simple to reactivate Facebook, it's possible you don't even remember your Facebook password in order to complete the step above. If that's the case, you can always just reset your Facebook password.

Just below the login fields is a link called Forgot account?. Click that and then type the email address or phone number you have associated with your account. You might need to answer some other identifiable information before Facebook will let you in.
Once you
reset your Facebook password, use it to log in normally and reactivate your Facebook account.
