Do You Have a Facebook Account
If I want to know whether someone has a Facebook account and uses it, should I say:
1. Do you have Facebook?
OR
2. Do you have a Facebook account?
I think 2 is perfectly fine, but 1 is a little odd.
And if I just want to know that info, it's even better to ask "Do you use Facebook?" because you own an account doesn't mean you use it.
What do you think?
Thanks

To my ear:
"Do you have Facebook?" - incorrect
"Do you have a Facebook account?" - correct
"Do you use Facebook?" - correct
"Are you on Facebook?" - correct, and perhaps what you will hear most often.

Click to expand...Can we on this analogy say?:
-Do you have a Wordreference account?
-Do you use Wordreference/use this forum?
-Are you in/on Wordreference?
