How To See Sent Messages On Facebook That Deleted
If you have archived them, you can retrieve them. If you deleted them, then they are gone and you cannot get them back.
To retrieve archived messages, go to your message box (not just the drop down, but to the full list of messages.) There you will see at the top left of the screen "Inbox" and "Other" and "More" with a drop-down arrow after the more. Click on "More". When the drop-down appears, select "Archived."

Yeah. I learned at my old job to keep all my old e-mails when it was *strongly* suggested that we not do that. It saved my job once when someone didn't think I'd have e-mails two or three years old and blamed me for something. :-)Posted about 4 years ago

There is no mechanism to do that. When you delete messages, Facebook warns you that it is permanent and not recoverable.
Archiving a conversation will hide it from your messages view, while deleting a conversation permanently removes the message history from your inbox.
To archive a conversation, go to your main messages page and click the x next to the message. The conversation's history will be preserved, and you will still be able to find it later. If the same person sends you a new message later, the archived conversation will reappear, and the new message will be added to it.
If FACEBOOK, is about conversation, THEY must create a PROGRAM, on how to RECALL or REVIVE those of past memories. Since, it is a BRIDGE of BOND between rela...tionships. What a painful it IS , to accept such limitation, that we dont have the free ACCESS for this PROBLEM.
Even it is JUST ABOUT yesterday or somewhat last days or months, and yet we dont have the ACCESS ? What a shame from a man made program. Posted about 4 years ago
