In this article, we'll show you how to log out of Messenger on Android and iOS from your phone or PC.

How to log out of Facebook Messenger on Android

There are two methods of logging out of Facebook Messenger on Android: clear Messenger's app data in your device Settings, or log out of the Messenger session from your Facebook app.
Clear Messenger app data in Settings

To log out of Facebook Messenger, you need to go into the Settings of your Android device.
Close the app if you have it open, and get rid of it from your recent apps list, otherwise this trick won’t work.
In Settings, scroll down to the Apps or Application Manager, and scroll down until you see Messenger.
Tap on this, and Clear data.

Now when you go back to tap on Messenger in your app drawer, you should see that it won't log you in automatically.

If you've got Messenger on your phone, chances are good that you've got the Facebook app as well. From the Android Facebook app, tap the More button on the top right (which should appear as three lines), then go to Account settings, followed by Security and login. You'll see a section called Where you're logged in, then just select the Messenger session and tap Log Out.

How to log out of Facebook Messenger on iOS

Open your Facebook app (not Messenger, but the Facebook iOS app itself), then tap the More button on the bottom right. Scroll down to Settings, tap Account Settings, then Security. In the Security menu, go to Where you're logged in. Once you open it, you can manage all your Facebook account's active sessions across any device, app or browser. Then just close the session listed as "Facebook Messenger on iOS 10" or whichever version of iOS your iPhone is running on. These workaround methods are a bit annoying, but they work. Facebook doesn't seem keen to change the situation to make it any easier. If you are annoyed by Facebook in general, you might want to consider giving it the boot and trying one of these Facebook alternatives.

How to Delete an Email Address from the Facebook Login Screen
Your browser's AutoFill feature automatically saves all email addresses that are entered in the Email or Phone field of the Facebook Login page.

To remove your address from the website's Login field, erase your browser's saved form data through the History section of its Settings menu.
To prevent automatic access to your Facebook account whenever you visit the website, clear the option to stay logged in from the Facebook Login page.

How do I add a Sign Up Form to my Facebook page?

Want to give your followers an easy way to sign up for your email list? Adding your sign up form to Facebook is a great way to turn followers into subscribers!

Our Facebook application allows you to easily add a sign up form to a Facebook fan/business page. Due to the nature of personal Facebook profile pages it is not possible to add a sign up form to those types of pages. If you do not yet have a Facebook fan/business page you can simply create one.

This article explains how to install a sign up form to your Facebook fan/business page through the AWeber app. The app would not be visible for mobile users; however, if you wanted to publish a form to your Facebook page so mobile visitors could sign themselves up, please click here for those instructions.
Step by Step Instructions
First, be sure to be logged in to your Facebook account. Once you are logged in, click this link to add the AWeber app. After the page loads, click the "Add App to Page" button and log into your Facebook page.

Once there, choose the page you'd like to add the app to, then click "Add Page Tab."

This will take you back to your profile home page in Facebook.

Next, you will want to click the down arrow in the top right corner of your Facebook account and select the page that you had installed the app onto.

On the next page find the "Email Signup" tab on the left side of the page and click on it.

On the next page you will want to click the "Configure" button.

You will then be prompted to enter your AWeber login details in order to allow Facebook to connect to your AWeber account. After you have entered your AWeber login details press the "Allow Access" button.

The page with the "Configure" button will then appear again. Press that "Configure" button again.

Note: If you're using the Facebook Business Manager, you will have to go to the Business Manager section before continuing to the next steps.

Next, choose the list you'd like to have subscribers added to:

And the form you'd like to appear:

Then click the "Save Changes" button to install your form!

Note: if you do not complete the above step then a form will not display when a subscriber clicks the "Email Newsletter" tab. Instead they will see a page that says "This Facebook tab has not been setup yet!"

To change the name of the tab where your form appears, click "Settings" from the upper right hand corner of the page.

On the next page, click on "Edit Page" from the options in the sidebar.

From the "Tabs" page you are on, scroll down to the "Email Signup" and clicked "Settings".

You will then see a pop up in which you can change the tab name from "Email Signup" to something different and the tab image from the default AWeber one to something else as well. If changing the Custom Tab Image, your image must be a .jpg, .gif, or .png file. The size of the image must be 111 x 74 pixels and the file size limit is 1 MB.

And that's all there is to it. Now any visitor to your Facebook page can become a subscriber to your email campaign.

Facebook API – Login with the JavaScript SDK
I´ve seen a lot of weird coding happening around Login with the Facebook JavaScript SDK, so here is one good solution with explanation.
HTML (just a login button and a div for the response)

Of course there is room for improvement (there always is), but i am just trying to explain when (and how) you should use FB.login and FB.getLoginStatus. For example, you should hide the login button with CSS, right now it shows up for a short time and disappears if the user is authorized already – because it takes some time until the callback function of FB.getLoginStatus gets called. You could also use the Social Plugin for the Login Button, but i guess you want to use your own design so that´s not an option in most cases.

FB.login: FB.login opens the authorization window where users can authorize your App. It must get called directly on user interaction (mouse click), you can´t call it right after FB.init and you can´t call it in the asynchronous callback function of FB.getLoginStatus either. Make sure you understand what asynchronous means, it´s very important to know for a web developer. If you don´t call it on user interaction, it may get blocked by popup blockers. The benefit of using FB.login for authorization is that you don´t need to redirect the user to a login screen – the PHP SDK does not offer that kind of usability.

FB.getLoginStatus: This function should get used on page load, right after FB.init. The major advantage of using this instead of a server side login process (with the PHP SDK, for example) is that it will refresh the User Token without page refresh. That is another benefit of using the JavaScript SDK, and it´s a pretty important one.

FB.api: This is actually not about the login process anymore, it´s just a basic API call to get the basic user data in the example. FB.api can only be used after FB.init. Should be obvious though, you can´t use the API before initializing the SDK.

return_scopes: Asking for permissions in the authorization process is not a sure thing. The user can just deselect the email permission in the authorization popup, for example. It´s quite easy to check for the authorized permissions by setting return_scopes in FB.login, as you can see in the code. If you add that parameter, you will get a list of all granted permissions in the grantedScopes field of response.authResponse.

To see if you have these options:
Go to the Facebook login page and click Forgot your account? or Can't login? in the top right.
Fill out the form to identify your account.
