Have you ever been part of one of those big Facebook groups, and thought “Wow. It would be cool to create something like this myself.”
I was in that position myself a few years ago. I was part of a massive Facebook group with tons of interaction, valuable discussion, and engaged members.

The group was thriving, growing, and providing value.
The group managers were benefitting, too! They were growing their personal brand, passively marketing their products, and helping others.
About that time, I started my Facebook page. (Which is different from a group; I’ll explain in a minute.)
I created my Facebook page for my personal brand since that was the easiest thing I knew to do.
Then, I worked to build the page’s audience.
At the time of writing, my Facebook page has 891,191 likes. Over the past seven days, I gained 7,311 new likes. 26,098 are “talking about this” page right now. Overall, there are 889,770 users who are following my updates.
Those numbers sound big and impressive. And, sure, my page has grown a lot in the past couple of years. But soon, I discovered there was something even more valuable.
The number of likes (or members) wasn’t as high. But the engagement was insane.
It was Facebook groups.
When I started looking into it, I realized a massive marketing opportunity just waiting to happen.
Sure, Facebook pages were great. I had learned the basic skills required to build a nice page audience. But for many marketing purposes, groups were even better!
A Facebook page allows you to stake out your claim on the world’s largest social media platform. But a Facebook group gives you more control over that platform, influencing people in a bigger way than a Facebook page.

How to Check Other Email Accounts Through Yahoo! Mail

Many people have more than one email address; in fact, many have addresses through more than one email provider. Checking all of them individually can be inconvenient and time-consuming.
If you're among those people and you prefer Yahoo! email's interface, you can check other POP3 email accounts (your work mail, for example) through Yahoo! email. Specifically, Yahoo! mail supports synchronization with email addresses through only the following providers:

Now you'll tell Yahoo! email what kind of account you'd like to connect toTo add a Gmail or Google Apps account:
Select Google.
Type your full Gmail or Google Apps email address under Email address.
Click Add mailbox.
Sign in to Google and click Allow to grant Yahoo! Mail access to your Google account.
Optionally:
Edit the name that appears when you send messages from the account under Your name.
Give the new account a name under Description.
Click Done.
To add an Outlook.com (formerly Windows Live Hotmail or MSN Hotmail) account:
Make sure you are signed in to the Outlook.com account you want to add to Yahoo! Mail. To check, open Outlook.com in a different browser tab.
Click Outlook.
Enter your full Outlook.com address under Email address.
Click Add mailbox.
Click Yes to allow Yahoo! Mail access to your Outlook.com account.

Adjusting your Facebook settings enables you to achieve a customized Facebook user experience that works for you and your business. If, after changing your settings, you find an overabundance of notifications or a lack of posts on your Timeline, some fine tuning may be in order. While there is no magic “Reset” button that restores all settings to default, you can systematically reset your privacy and account settings to change the way Facebook manages your privacy, notifications, apps and other features you use on a regular basis.

1. Log in to your Facebook account and click the gear-shaped icon in the upper-right corner of any page. Select either the “Account Settings” or the “Privacy Settings” option from the drop-down list, both of which enable you to access all settings. Use the tabs on the left-side column of the resulting page to reset your preferences.
2. Select the “General” tab to make changes to settings like your name, username and networks, most of which can only be changed one or two times during the life of your account. Select the “Security" tab to enable or disable settings like login notifications and approvals, as well as app passwords.
3. Use the “Privacy,” “Timeline and Tagging” and “Blocking” options to change your settings for how you can be found on Facebook and by whom, as well as how others can interact with you. Use the “Edit” buttons that appear beside your desired settings to make and confirm changes. Adjust the audience selector tool where available to designate how you share your content and how others share content with you.
4. Click the “Notifications” and “Mobile” tabs to reset your preferences for how Facebook notifies you about activity that concerns you. The “View” and “Edit” options enable you to make and confirm any changes. Click the “Remove” link on the “Mobile Settings” page to delete your mobile number from Facebook, disabling Facebook mobile texts. Use the “Followers” tab to turn following on or off, enabling non-friends to see your public content.

How to Change Your Facebook Language Settings
With over 100 languages to choose from, Facebook probably supports your own language so that you can read everything in what's comfortable to you. If you've already changed your Facebook language, you can also read Facebook in English (or any language) again in just a few easy steps.
There are two primary ways to choose a different language for Facebook. If you're on a computer, you can do so from the Language area of your account settings or from the News Feed page. However, if you're using the mobile app, the steps are entirely different between Android and iOS.
One of the fun language options on Facebook is Pirate English. Menus and your labels on various pages will change to the pirate lingo, like "sea dogs" and "wenches" in place of "friends." It will definitely look funny to you but you can rest assured that nobody else can see it unless they, too, change their own language settings.
There are even lots of languages you can choose from that most websites don't support, like Zaza, Malti, Brezhoneg, Hausa, Af-Soomaali, Galego, Basa Jawa, Cymraeg, and upside-down English.
Picking a Different Language to Use on Facebook
It's easy to change the language in which Facebook displays text. Either access the Language Settings page through this link and then skip down to Step 4 or follow these steps in order:

Changing the Language From the Settings.
Click or tap the arrow on the far right side of the Facebook menu bar, to the right of the Quick Help question mark.
Select Settings at the bottom of that menu.
Choose the Language tab on the left.
On the very first line, the one that reads "What language do you want to use Facebook in?", select Edit off to the right.
Choose a language from the drop-down menu.
Click or tap the blue Save Changes button to apply the new language to Facebook.
Another way to change the language you see on Facebook is via the News Feed:

Go to your profile's News Feed page, or click here.
Scroll down enough that the menu on the right, between the feed and the chat box, shows a language section. There are popular languages there that you can choose from, like English, Spanish, German, and Portuguese. Click one and confirm it with the Change Language button that appears.
Another option is to click the plus (+) sign to see all of the supported languages. Select a language from that screen to immediately apply it to your Facebook.
If you're using Facebook on a mobile browser, you can change the language from the menu button:

Tap the menu button at the very top right corner.
Scroll all the way down until you reach the very last section of the settings, and then tap Language (the first option that uses two letters as the icon).
Pick a language from the list to immediately change Facebook to that language.
Another place you can change the language for Facebook is if you're using the Android app. Just open the settings and select any language from the list.

Tap the menu button at the very top right corner of the app.
Scroll down toward the bottom of the menu and choose Settings & Privacy
Tap Language in the smaller menu that shows up.
Pick a language from the list.
Note: If you're on an iPhone, you cannot change the language of Facebook through the mobile app. Instead, Facebook uses whatever language your phone is set up to use, so to change it you have to pick a different language for your entire phone. Do this through the Settingsapp via General > Language & Region > iPhone Language.

We strongly recommend that you enable two-factor authentication, so this won’t happen again.
3. Did Your Contact Information Change?

Often, it’s not possible to recover an account using the options above. Maybe you no longer have access to the email address(es) and phone number(s) you once added to your profile. Or maybe a hacker changed this information. In that case, Facebook allows you to specify a new email address, which they will use to contact you about recovering your account.

To start this process, click the link No longer have access to these? in the bottom left on the reset password page to start the recovery process. Facebook will ask you for a new email address or phone number, so that they can reach out to you if needed. Click Continue to proceed.

If you have set up Trusted Contacts, you will have the chance to use these to recover your account in the next step.
You’ll need to remember at least one full name of your three to five Trusted Contacts to reveal all of them. Note that you only need three codes to recover your account.

If you didn’t set up Trusted Contacts, you might be given the option to answer one of your security questions and reset your password on the spot. As an additional precaution, this comes with a 24 hour waiting period before you can access your account.
