Share countdown Timer
ItsAlmo.st is a dead-simple way of creating a countdown timer. To begin, visit the Web site ItsAlmo.st. Next you simply enter the event name, date, and time and then click on the Start the Countdown button.

You are then presented with a countdown timer similar to that shown above.Screenshot by Jason CiprianiAt the bottom of the Web page there are three options for you to choose from. You can create another countdown, view your current countdowns, or share a countdown.Screenshot by Jason Cipriani
Selecting the My Countdowns option will bring up a list of the countdowns you have previously created. Clicking on any of them will open up the Web page for that countdown, allowing you to view the timer.Screenshot by Jason Cipriani
You may have noticed while you were entering the event name that a URL is made based off of the event name, which you can then share with friends and family members. By clicking on the Share This option at the bottom of the site, you are then given the option to share the countdown on Twitter and Facebook.

Whether it's a due date, the first day of school, an important meeting, or just the weekend you are looking forward to, having a countdown timer is a handy reminder of how close the event is.
Hopefully in the future, ItsAlmo.st will add a feature allowing users to create a widget that can be embedded into personal blogs or Web sites. But for now, it works great and is fun to use.
