In this post I will show you step by step how you can remove the add friend button from you Facebook profile. Are you ready? So, let's get started!
How to Hide Add Friend Button on Facebook Timeline?
Step 1: Click the down arrow beside the privacy shortcuts icon at the top right of any Facebook page, then choose Settings from the drop down menu.

Step 2: From your General Account Settings page, click the Privacy tab.
Step 3: Click Edit next to Who can contact me?

Step 4: Now, when you click the audience selector, you'll see tow options, Everyone and Friends of Friends. So, the best thing you can do is choosing Friends of Friends. When you choose this audience, it means that the add friend button will be available to only people who have friends in common with you, no more.
When you finish adjusting the privacy setting of the add friend button, press Close.
Unfortunately, there is no way to hide it from everyone. As I said before, choosing Friends of Friends is the best thing you can do.
