Three Parts:Creating Your AccountSetting Up Your ProfileUsing FacebookCommunity Q&A

Want to join the ever-growing Facebook community? Creating a Facebook account is free, and will only take a few minutes. Once your account is created, you can share interesting things with friends, upload images, chat, and much more.

Part 1Creating Your Account

1 Open the Facebook homepage. You will need to be at least 13 years old to create a Facebook account. Facebook accounts are free, but you can purchase things for your Facebook account. You can only create one Facebook account per email address.

2 Enter in your information. On the Facebook homepage, enter in your first name, last name, email address, password, birthday, and gender. You must use your real name for your account. Nicknames are allowed as long as they are a variation on your real name (Jim instead of James, for example).

3 Click the "Sign Up" button. If all of your information is correct, you will be sent a verification email to the address you provided.

4 Open the verification email. It may take a few minutes for the email to get delivered. Click the link in the email to activate your account.

Part 2 Setting Up Your Profile

1 Add a profile picture. The first thing you should do after creating an account is add a profile picture. This will allow others to quickly see who you are, making conversations between friends and family easier.

2 Add friends. Facebook is nothing if you don't have friends and family to share with. You can search for people by their name or email, import your contact lists, and invite friends that aren't currently using Facebook.
When you find someone that you want to add, you will need to send a friend invite. Once they accept your invitation, that person will be added to your Friends list.

3 Manage your privacy settings. There are countless horror stories of people posting things that they don't want others to see, or losing a job because of something controversial they shared. Take some time to set up your privacy settings to prevent the wrong people from seeing what you post.

Part 3 Using Facebook

1 Share and post. You can post to your own timeline or post to your friends' timelines. You can also share content from elsewhere on the internet, including links, images, and videos.

2 Chat on Facebook. Facebook allows you to chat with anyone on your friends list. If the person you are chatting with is not online, they will receive your message the next time they log in. You can also download the Messenger app for your phone to chat on the go.

3 Upload photos. Facebook allows you to upload your photos to post to your profile and share with friends and family. You can upload single photos or organize your photos into albums. Make sure to not upload anything containing questionable content.

4 Create an event. You can use Facebook to create events and invite people. You can set the date and time, enter a location, make posts for people that will be attending, and invite specific people. Facebook events are quickly becoming one of the main ways that people organize gatherings.

How To Open Fb Account

How to Make a Second Facebook Account

Most people have a Facebook account to keep up with friends and family, share photos and post updates about daily happenings. Facebook sets no limit to the number of accounts a person can have, and some people opt to have separate accounts for personal interests, friends, family and coworkers. Because a Facebook account is tied to a unique email address, anyone can start a second account as long as a unique email address is provided. Accounts are completely separate and do not share friends, photos or applications.

Step

Register for a second email address if you have only one. Many free Web-mail services like Gmail (gmail.com) and Hotmail (hotmail.com) will take only a few minutes to sign up.
Step

Go to the Facebook homepage (facebook.com) and fill in the required fields on the sign-up form along the right side of the page. Enter an email address that has not yet been used to register for a previous Facebook account, your first and last name, a password, your gender and your birthdate.

Create Facebook Account

Create Facebook Account, Fb new account     No comments

How to Make a New Facebook Account.

       Create Facebook Account
This teaches you how to create a new Facebook account after signing out of your old one. You can do this on both the desktop and the mobile versions of Facebook. If you want to use the email address that you used for your old Facebook account with your new one, you'll need to delete your account and wait for the account to fully delete before creating your new one.

Method 1 On Mobile

1. Open Facebook. Tap the Facebook app icon, which resembles a dark-blue box with a white "f" on it. This will open your News Feed if you're logged in.
If you aren't logged into Facebook, skip ahead to the "Tap Sign Up for Facebook'" step.

2. Tap ☰. It's either in the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen.

3. Scroll down and tap Log Out. This is at the bottom of the menu.

4. Tap Sign Up for Facebook. It's a link at the bottom of the screen.

5. Tap Get Started. This blue button is in the middle of the pop-up window.

6. Enter an email address. Tap the "Enter your email address" text field, then type in the email address that you want to use.

7. Tap Continue. It's below the email address text field.

8. Add your first and last name. Tap the "First name" field, type in your first name, then tap the "Last name" field and type in your last name.

9. Tap Continue.

10. Create a password. Tap the "Password" text field, then type in a password that you want to use.

11. Tap Continue.

12. Set your birthday. Select a month, day, and year for your birthday.

13. Tap Continue.

14. Select a gender. Tap either Female or Male. This is the last step in creating your profile; once you select a gender, your profile will be created.
While there isn't an Other or Prefer not to say option, you can hide your selected gender from your profile later if necessary.
If you're prompted for a verification code, open the email address that you used to create your Facebook account, look for the code in the subject line of the email from Facebook, and enter the code on the Facebook prompt.

Method 2On Desktop

1. Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/. This will open your News Feed page if you're logged in.
If you aren't logged into Facebook, skip ahead to the "Enter your first and last name" step.

2. Click
. It's a small triangle in the far-right side of the dark-blue bar that's at the top of the Facebook page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.

3. Click Log Out. This option is at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Doing so will log you out of your Facebook account.

4. Enter your first and last name. Type your first name into the "First name" text field in the "Sign Up" section of the page, then type your last name into the "Last name" field here.

5. Add your email address. Type a working email address to which you currently have access into the "Mobile number or email" field, then add the address to the "Re-enter email" field that appears below it.

6. Enter a password. Type the password that you want to use into the "New password" text field.

7. Set your birthday. Click the month drop-down box and select the month of your birth, then repeat this step for the day and year drop-down boxes.

8. Select a gender. Check the "Male" or "Female" box near the bottom of the "Sign Up" section.
Facebook currently does not have an "Other" box, but you can hide your selected gender from your profile later if need be.

9. Click Create Account. It's a green button at the bottom of the "Sign Up" section. This creates your Facebook account, though you'll still need to verify your email address.

10. Open your email account. Go to the inbox for the email address that you used to sign up for Facebook and sign in if needed.

11. Open the email from Facebook. Click the "Welcome to Facebook" email from Facebook in your inbox.

12. Click Get Started. It's a dark-blue button at the bottom of the email. Doing so will verify your email address and open a new tab for Facebook. Your new Facebook account is now live.
You can navigate through the final steps of your account creation (e.g., adding friends) by clicking the white f icon in the top-left corner of the page.

Go into your Facebook settings and click "Manage Account" at the bottom. You will then be able to deactivate your account.

Question
What will happen if I block a person?

Create Facebook Account Without Mobile Number

Create Facebook Account, Without Mobile Number     No comments

Create a Facebook Account without Phone Numbers

Create Facebook Account Without Mobile Number
Facebook is still as popular as ever, being a big player in the social media space and enjoyed by millions all throughout the world. However, the recent Facebook privacy issue is causing hesitation among even its power users. “Should I really be giving my Email Address to Facebook?” Or, “Should I really be giving my Mobile Number to Facebook?” might be some of the questions that you might ask, and we don’t blame you – nobody wants their identity compromised.

But you don’t necessarily need to provide your personal information to create a Facebook account. You can, in fact, create a Facebook account without an Email address at all! That is, you won’t be providing your personal email address. And with Facebook asking for a phone number as an alternative to an email address, there is also a way to create a Facebook account without a mobile number.

There are tricks as to how to do these and here they are:
How to create a Facebook Account without an Email Address

Email addresses. Almost everyone has one. But if in the off-chance that you don’t have an email address or you’re not willing to give out your email address out, you can instead create a temporary email address. A temporary email address or disposable email address basically allows you to have an email address for a limited time (10-15 minutes). After the time frame, it will be discarded by the email provider and will inaccessible to you. There are some providers that allow you to make your email permanent, but ten to fifteen minutes is enough to get passed the confirmation sent by Facebook to finalize your Facebook account. Let’s see how we can create a Facebook account without an email address!
Select one of the many temporary email providers (making one is free, by the way)
TempMail https://temp-mail.org/en/
GuerillaMail https://www.guerrillamail.com/
TempMailAddress https://www.tempmailaddress.com/
EmailOnDeck https://www.emailondeck.com/
ThrowAwayMail http://www.throwawaymail.com/en
Create an email address with them, usually, upon visiting the website it will provide you with an email address straight away. You might also need to click on a button that says “Generate”.
Use the email address to create a Facebook account. For heightened privacy, you can go on “incognito mode” on your browser.
After signing up, Facebook will ask you for the code that was sent to your email address. Go back to your temporary email address and you should be able to see the confirmation email.
Type the confirmation email on Facebook.
You now created a Facebook account without an email address!
How to create a Facebook Account without a Mobile Number

You can go an alternative route and create a Facebook account without a phone number, but you’ll need to use a disposable phone number. Disposable phone numbers do have the same function as disposable email addresses in that you don’t own these numbers but you can use them to sign up to untrusted websites and receive SMS on them.

Unlike temporary email addresses, where a single email address is yours alone, disposable phone numbers are shared by multiple persons. When using this service, you might see messages coming from other websites that the other users have signed up to. Meaning to say, if the phone number that you’re using has already been used by someone else to sign up for Facebook, you’ll have to look for another one. However, these phone numbers are refreshed every couple of days (or every month) so you can try to beat everyone to the punch once the provider has generated a new set of phone numbers. With that said, let’s see how we can create a Facebook account without a phone number!
Go to a temporary mobile number provider such as SMSRecieveFree (https://smsreceivefree.com/)
For SMS Receive Free, you’ll need to select a country. You can select either the US or Canada for the numbers.
You’ll need to select the phone number you’ll be using. There are only preset numbers, you cannot create another number.
Once you’ve selected the number that you’d like, you’ll be brought to a screen showing the Phone number and the messages that the number has received (remember that the mobile number is shared with multiple people)
Go to Facebook and use the phone number to sign up
Viola! You now have created a Facebook account without a mobile number.

Using these steps, you’ll be able to take control of your privacy and protect your personal information – not just on Facebook but on every other website right now. Especially in this day and age, there are a lot of people – fraudsters and cybercriminals – that would really like to get a hold of all of the information that they can get. Ever wonder how spam emails find their way into your inboxes even if you haven’t given your email to anyone? It might be these kinds of people at work. If you’re not careful, you might find yourself with hundreds of spam emails. You also might be experiencing unknown numbers texting you for promos, and events and whatnot, and you don’t recall who you’ve given your number to. Cybercriminals and fraudsters exploiting websites might also be the case in this scenario.

In any case, it definitely helps to be extra vigilant when transacting online, even if it’s just signing up for a website. If there’s a website that you don’t trust or have hesitations in creating an account with, you can take advantage of all of these temporary and disposable mobile numbers and email addresses. They are free anyway, so why not use them? In the end, everybody simply wants to sleep easy at night knowing that their information is safe and secure.

So if you’re in doubt, just simply generate a disposable email address or use a disposable phone number and you’re good to go! Have fun and let us know in the comments if this article helped you out.
