How to Check Your Facebook Email on Your Phone

Most of us use Facebook to connect with friends and stay in touch with them. Some use it to update statuses while others use it to connect to long-lost friends. However, Facebook isn’t just for messaging your friends. You can use it to mail other people, just like you do with Gmail, using your own Facebook email ID. All you need is have your own Facebook account.
Steps

Method 1Using Your Phone’s Browser

1. Launch your phone’s browser. Click on your phone browser to open it. This can be your default phone browser or a browser you installed from the Google Play Store, like Google Chrome.

2. Go to Facebook. Type in m.facebook.com in the address bar.

3. Log in. Enter your username and password on the Facebook login page.

4. Go to your Facebook inbox. It is the message bubbles icon that is located between the Facebook logo and the search field.

5. Access your mails. Click on the “Other” folder to access your mail. You can find the “Other” folder at the bottom of the message screen.
You cannot access the “Other” folder through your Facebook app on your phone, so it is important to use your phone browser for this instead.

6. Select a message. You will probably see a lot of unread messages from different people. You can read the message by clicking on the Message box.

7. Reply to the message. Click on the Reply box if you want to reply to the message. Type your message then send it.

Method 2 Using Your Email Account

1. Go to your email provider. Click on your phone browser to open it then type in the primary email account address that is used with your Facebook.com (the mail ID you used to sign up with Facebook), for example, gmail.com.
If your email provider has an app, like Gmail or Yahoo! Mail, you can launch the app instead.

2. Log into your email account. Type in your username/email address and password on the fields provided to log in.

3. Check your mail. When you signed up on Facebook, you used a primary email address, and the emails your contact send to your @facebook.com account now get directly forwarded to your primary mail address. Check your inbox for any Facebook emails that have been forwarded to your mail ID.

4. Open the Facebook mail. Just select the mail that comes from @facebook.com, and click on it to open it.

Facebook Changes: Log In as Your Page and Like Other Pages

Facebook changes again. This time it’s the “Login as your Page” option – it’s gone. But never fear, we can still do everything we used to do, it’s just different.

Facebook definitely likes to change things up and it’s not always for the better. I personally liked the Login as your Page option because then it was very clear how you were acting on Facebook.

Now you have to pay attention to the small icon next to each post to switch back and forth.

Here are some of the changes and how you do the things you used to do while you were logged in as your Page.
View your Page Home Feed by Click the Pages Feed

Before when you logged in as your Page you would click Home at the top to see the Pages you have Liked as your Page.

Now, you get to your Pages Feed by clicking View Pages Feed under your profile picture on the left sidebar.

Now your Pages Feed is showing but your profile picture is still at the top. But your Page is “set” to comment on any of the posts there. You can change the attribution by switching the icon.

Like Other Pages as Your Page

This has changed too. You used to be able to just navigate to the Page while you were logged in and click Like. But now, there are a couple of ways to do this:
Click the “Like Other Pages” button and type in the Page name from your Pages Home Feed (see the image above)
Navigate to the Page and click the 3 dots button to the right of the Like button and select Like as your Page from the drop down menu.

Then you just have to navigate to that Page and click “Save”

Comment on Other Pages as your Page

You don’t have to Like another Page as your Page to comment on their Timeline or Posts, you can just navigate to that Page and switch the icon to your Page.
