Okay, well, I have just became an Admin in a Group I didn’t create, because i was helpful to the Admin, who has 3 kids, and little time to do anything with that Group. I had noticed some inappropriate content in their Group Files, and sent the Admin a message, because we are friendly with one another. He wasn’t too sure of what he was doing, so I explained where they were, and i offered my assistance, stating that I had a lot of experience. Which is true, I’ve created and Admin 7 Groups, so offering to help him out was really just a favour.
Alternatively, you can create your own Group, and then you are automatically the Founder and Administrator.

Current group admins can make someone an admin or moderator.
They would do this by;
Clicking on the member's tab within their group (on the left).
Click … next to the person they want to make an admin or moderator.
Choose the Make Admin or Make Moderator option next to their name.
