How to Unfriend Someone on Facebook
It happens to everyone: After a while, you start to feel like a few people are cluttering up Facebook for you and want to unfriend some. Maybe you just feel like you have too many friends, or maybe you and a friend have legitimately drifted apart. Maybe you had a big falling-out and just need a break. Don’t worry; you can unfriend just like you friend people.

To unfriend someone, do the following:
Go to the person’s Timeline.
Click the Friends button.
A menu appears that is for assigning people to Friend Lists. The last item in this list is Unfriend.
Click the Unfriend link.
A window pops up asking if you’re sure you want to remove this friend.
Click the Remove from Friends button.
Take a moment of silence. Okay, that was long enough.

People aren’t notified when you unfriend them, but people who care about you (that is, family, close friends) have a tendency to notice on their own that, hey, you’re not in their list of friends anymore. This can sometimes lead to awkwardness, so it might be worth using your privacy settings to further limit these people’s knowledge of your life before you unfriend them.

Here’s a trick that’ll help keep your mind on your Caesar salad: just set Do Not Disturb to screen your calls and text messages, allowing only the most important ones through. That way, you’ll be confident that your silent Android phone or iPhone isn’t actually ringing off the hook with mission-critical calls, and more likely to pay attention during your lunchtime chat.

For Android:
Tap Settings > Sound > Do not disturb > Priority only allows, then pick some options. For example, you can set "priority only" to include incoming calls and texts from contacts, reminders, event alerts, and repeat callers. To restrict call and text alerts to your innermost circle, make sure Calls and Messages is set to Starred contacts only, then go through the Contacts app and star only those contacts who really, truly matter to you. Finally, a Repeat callers setting will allow a caller to get through if they've called twice within 15 minutes.
To enable Priority mode, flick down from the top of the screen to reveal Quick Settings, tap Do Not Disturb, then make sure the Priority only tab is enabled.
Finally, sit back and give your full, undivided attention to a (grateful) friend.

Note: Android's version of Do Not Disturb boasts three different modes: Priority Only, which blocks specific alerts for apps, calls and texts; Alarms Only, which blocks all alerts except for the Android alarm clock; and Total Silence, which blocks all alerts, no matter what. Facebook has become an addiction for many but surely it has its own advantages. Facebook has become a popular social networking platform for staying connected with your friends and share seamless information with each other. Still, as per reports, as many as 10 percents of Facebook's accounts are fake.

Many of you may have come across a situation of adding many friends at once and still those requests are pending. Canceling them individually could be a slightly tedious task, but with some of below tricks, you do it at once. Just remember if you add many friends continuously, Facebook may ban your account temporarily or permanently.

Now go to,
https://m.facebook.com/friends/center/requests/outgoing/#friends_center_main
It will display all your pending sent requests.
Open "Inspect" by Right click on the same page.

Now Go to "console" in top tabs and hit below script.

That's all, all your requests open on that page will be deleted.

(Note: Just ensure to scroll down till all list gets over, this will delete all open requests on the page)

Just close the page, again go to same page after some time, and repeat the process.
Firstly Log on to your FB account before proceeding any of below methods.

Solution 1

Go to privacy option in upper right corner and go to "who can see my stuff?”
Go to User Activity Log.
The activity log is separately available on top of the FB page as well. Expand the left side pane by clicking “More”.

Click on Friends > All incoming and outgoing requests will be displayed in chronological order.
Hover on the tab available in front of person's profile and select the cancel request option.

Solution 2

Go to Account Setting by clicking Gear icon at the top right of your FB page.
In General account setting, click "Download a copy of your Facebook data"
For big file size, FB will display a message as Start My Archive. Click it and FB will confirm an email sent for the downloading archive file.

After confirming an email click link inside to get download copy. FB will also ask your password to proceed, just confirm it once.

Wait till download completes.

Unzip the file if it is in zip format. There will be three folders and one .htm file.

Open HTML folder and double click on friends (it is .htm file). It will be opened in a browser.

Just go to pending friends requests and all friends requests, removed friends and subscribers will be displayed on the page.

Simply cancel all the pending requests.
Solution 3

Go to https://www.facebook.com/friends/requests/?fcref=ff&outgoing=1 or https://www.facebook.com/friends/requests?&outgoing=1
It will display all pending request list. You can individually cancel all pending requests.

Solution 4

If you know the exact friend's name of whom you want to cancel request, just search him with a search box on FB home page and go onto his/her profile. Browse to person's timeline and hover over the friend request sent button and confirm the cancel request button.

Depending upon the number of pending requests, you may find one of the methods above best suitable as per your need. Recently Facebook has blocked a "cancel pending friend requests" app on FB. There are also some Ad-Ons available for Chrome and Firefox browsers. You can search them on their add-on pages. Just to note that if your account has a large number of pending requests, consider your account is not in a healthy state and you immediately need to cancel them.
